Gentle, quick, easy-to-use
Leaves hair clean and ready for color
Convenient single – application packettes.
Directions:
- In plastic bowl or applicator bottle, mix 2 oz. (60 ml) of water or 2 ½ oz. (75 ml) of any 20 Volume Clairol Professional Developer ( except Luminize crème developer) for each packette used (see Mixing Guide). Shake or mix well
- If hair has been permed or relaxed, mix 1 packette with 2 oz. (60 ml) of water. Wait at least one week and one shampoo before applying. It is very important to strant test first.
- Apply mixture to the hair with brush or applicator bottle, starting ½ inch (1 cm) from scalp.
- Work mixture to the hair quickly and gently. Do not rub. Keep of scalp.
- Leave on hair from 5 to 30 minutes. Do not use heat. Timing depends on the amount of color to be removed and the number of levels to go through (see Mixing Guide)
- When desired amount of color removal is achieved, rinse, shampoo, condition hair. Dry under cool dryer. Avoid heat and excessive scalp manipulation. If more lightening is desired, Uncolor may be reapplied 24 hours after original application. Hair is now ready for corrective coloring.
- If a perm or relaxer is applied to hair previously treated with Uncolor, select a product designed for double processed hair.
Caution: When opening packette, hold away from face and avoid inhaling contents. Do a preliminary strand test. Do not apply if skin or scalp is broken. Keep of scalp area. Do not shampoo hair before application. Wait 24 hours between applications. Do not apply on eyeleashes or eyebrows
